The Malaccan Kristang classic of Debal Curry is as fiery as any version, made with mushrooms instead of meat, served bento-style with earthy peri-peri long-grain rice, baked potato and grilled eggplant (RM22).
The Ulam Rice is aromatically full-bodied in every herb-laden bite, a hearty meal with lively acar rampai, assam tamarind rolls and fried turnip popiah cutely shaped as chicken wings (RM23). Complete the meal with assorted ulam, including raw petai (RM18).
