InterContinental Kuala Lumpur's Noble Poon Choi set is a gallant gravied effort - the 12-ingredient treasure pot is hearty enough for four to six persons, brimming with fresh, premium produce.
The highlight might be the London-inspired roast duck that seeks to emulate the tender, tasty poultry of Bayswater, but everything else is a treat too, from the tiger prawns, sea cucumber, grouper fillets, baked fish maw and dried oysters to the sweet BBQ boneless chicken leg, crunchy Chinese yam, juicy bean curd sheets, broccoli, cabbage and mushrooms.
The set (RM528) comes with a soft-shell crab Yee Sang and addictive purple sweet potato balls laced with Nian Gao.
