The highlights of Yi Lin's Lunar New Year Lap Mei Fan are its own-made sausages - both the lap cheong and yun cheong are delicious delights, delicately but discernibly aromatic with rose wine.
A RM69.80 portion offers solid value, easily sufficient for three persons, with plenty of cured pork belly and waxed duck also in the mix over firm, well-separated rice, delivered steaming-hot to order.
Complete the meal with more comfort fare - Yi Lin's chicken steamed with lap cheong, enoki mushrooms and black fungus, plus tender yam stewed with lap yuk and dried shrimp, are full of homemade flavours.
