IJO Matcha's new home-based pop-up in Setapak is grounded in green tea galore, whisked to order in ice-cold beverages like the Matcha Chai Cincau, a Malaysian-influenced textural treat laced with subtly bitter, softly wobbly grass jelly that goes great with the green tea (RM14). Pair with the Sea Salt Matcha Brookie (RM6), a playful pleasure for fans of fudgy soft-baked cookies, a refreshing, not-too-rich change from chocolate cookies.
Note: If you miss this pop-up, IJO is poised to launch a permanent shop in Ampang in the months ahead.
