KL's latest destination for tendon - tempura-topped rice bowls - promises hearty fulfillment in a setting where it's perpetually sakura season. The top temptation is the Premium Tendon, featuring a heap of prawns, fish, calamari, crab sticks, vegetables and a half-boiled egg, blanketed in lightly crisp batter over steamed rice with a choice of soy or spicy sauce (RM38). If noodles are your preferred carb, order the tempura with udon in a hot, umami-rich soup (RM26), washed down with refillable barley tea.
