After seven years of home baking and seven years in PJ’s Happy Mansion, Xiao by Crustz moves this month to a much larger, leafier location, a five-minute drive from Section 17 to Section 19.
This is a soothing, spacious and sunny sanctuary for pastries, plated desserts and ice cream, with warm, welcoming hues and even warmer service.
Following a recent one-day test run, Xiao by Crustz will open at 8am this Wednesday, 22 March, at 18, Jalan SS2/72.
Its sweet sensations remain as luscious and lovable as ever, with balanced flavours and beautiful textures - the Nutcracker is a suite of strawberry compote, chocolate mousse and a three-peanut threat of praline, financier and feuilletine; Serenitea is is calmly caffeinated with coffee almond sponge, ganache and feuilletine in mascarpone mousse; the Longevity Bao is crazy for coconuts, with coconut chiffon and mousse filled with mango passionfruit cream.
