Meet Sri Petaling’s new pitmaster for Mex, mac and meat: Grillsmith founder Elsie is firing up a storm every evening outside The Store for the next six months.
This pop-up serves up Tijuana-loving beef tacos (RM14 for two, crispy-shelled FTW, stuffed with savoury-smoky, stick-to-your-teeth flesh) and chunky chicken burritos rolled with corn and tomato rice (RM11), plus steak and poultry at pleasant prices - the Aussie striploin clocks in at RM10 for 120 grams of beef at a budget, while the Cajun-spiced chicken thigh is RM7, smooth and juicy, all grilled to order.
Round out your evening takeout with Grillsmith’s ooey-gooey crowd-pleasers, pan-cooked mac and cheese (RM6) and cheese-stuffed chicken sausage (RM6).
