Aki's Kohi, Cheras

Inspired by Japan’s autumnal hues, Aki’s Kohi is a cafe for all seasons, a cosy refuge run by friendly founders, husband-and-wife team Eric and Carmen.
Aki’s Kohi opens relatively bright and early, so you can stroll in at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast - a simple but very satisfying sandwich, with fresh bread plumply packed with egg, onions, lettuce and tomatoes (RM12). Pair it with whiskey-laced Irish coffee (RM20) for a perky, potent start to the morning.

Desserts are baked in-house - the lemon pound cake is served beautifully moist and warm, the perfect balance of sweet and tang. Have that with the strawberry latte, milky with a lovely base of lusciously homemade jam that channels the ripeness of springtime (RM15).

Aki's Kohi
Lot 2-00-07, D'alamanda Shop Lot, Jalan Pudu Impian, 4, Jalan Pudu Ulu, Cheras, 56100 Kuala Lumpur.
Open Thursday-Tuesday, 830am-530pm.
