Oxford Classic Lounge, Sri Petaling

It's no surprise that Oxford Classic Lounge serves British-inspired pub grub like pork sausages blanketed in deep-fried bacon (RM16), but its culinary colonisation stretches to Asia as well with char koay teow with prawns and squid (RM11.90) and thickly battered chicken skin seasoned with Japanese togarashi spices and paired with Thai chilli sauce (RM8.20) - fuss-free fare at pleasant prices. Cocktails span the Westminster-themed Backbenchers (rum with whisky and tequila) and no-varsity-blues Flying Colours (with Bols lychee and strawberry liqueurs).
