Expect a capably executed range of deep-fried breaded cutlets served in various combinations - for the ideal introduction, order the duo of pork loin katsu and creamy cheese-stuffed pork tenderloin katsu (RM36.90) and seafood-fuelled salmon katsu with shrimp and crab croquette (RM40.90). Both sets come with refillable rice, miso soup, cabbage and tea beverage.
All in all, Soboten succeeds in offering the comprehensive tonkatsu experience; service is efficient and helpful.
