Crafty cocktails steal the show at W Kuala Lumpur's Woobar lobby lounge: The Alor Treasure Chest pays homage to the roasted chestnuts of KL's Jalan Alor, sneakily packed in a paper bag that's ripped open to reveal a cocktail in a treasure chest - rhum agricole, chestnut-infused Campari, blood orange and shiitake, with real roasted chestnuts on the side (RM50).
Also nutty but nice: Witty Wonka, blending macadamia-infused bourbon and sweet vermouth with Oompa Loompa-loving chocolate bitters (RM50). Playful stuff for a fun evening.
Try a trio of tapas (RM95 in total): Wagyu beef satay, freshly shucked oysters, and five-spice duck confit tacos with chilli-corn salsa, showcasing influences both foreign and domestic.
