Convo's cavernous warehouse setting makes this restaurant a noteworthy possibility for private functions. When we visited on a recent evening, the space was being set up for potentially a birthday bash or an engagement party.
The extensive menu is meant to be crowd-pleasing; a couple of Italian creations with Asian influences caught our attention - a pizza topped with pulled beef brisket came spiced up with rendang sauce and sambal tumis (RM37.90), while house-made potato gnocchi was splashed with salted egg yolk sauce and batter-fried vegetables (RM34.90), both satisfactory for folks who favour robustly flavoursome recipes.
