Crispy Fried Eggs might sound simple, but this is something that customers justifiably flock for - a very satisfying union of many eggs combined on one platter, their yolks frilled by crackling edges, showered with soy sauce (RM 6 for this serving).
The Assam Fish is another signature here, a should-try for first-timers to Restoran Muar, showcasing a snapper in a bowl of tasty assam pedas, its flesh achingly moist and tender (seasonal price; RM 33 when we visited).
To round out your meal, have the Mantis Prawns with Dried Chillies, a love letter to heat-packed spicy seafood (RM 20), Butter Kai Lan that's coated in rich creaminess (RM 13), and the 'Secret Cendol,' which is what the servers recommend if you request dessert (RM 4.50).
