Owee by Sayang Manis @ SS15 Courtyard

Plates of chicken chop form the cornerstone of Owee's menu, served in no fewer than a lucky seven preparations, from traditional Hainan to classic gravy, creamy mushroom to black pepper, Korean topokki sauce to salted egg. The eyebrow-raising recipe is the Durian Fiesta (RM15.90), with the chicken blanketed in a thick, house-made sauce that conveys unmistakable notes of the sweet fruit - the combination might seem like an acquired taste, but Owee does a very decent job of working to construct a harmonious marriage of flavours.
