Restoran Lee Koon, Seremban: For Fishball Noodles

Restoran Lee Koon, Seremban: For Fishball Noodles

It's great rediscovering all the eateries I used to frequent as a child in Seremban. Last week, we were down to run some errands, so we dropped by Restoran Lee Koon located in Jalan Zaaba in Rahang for breakfast. This restaurant specialises in fishball noodles.

We arrived around 8.30am and it was already super busy. Look for a table (it's common to be asked to share a table here) and one of the staff will come to take your order. You can specify what type of noodles you would like and whether you would like it served dry (konlo) or in soup. Go for the large as the portion is just nice for a hearty breakfast.

We had to wait about 30-40 minutes that morning for our food. A large portion comes with three normal fishball, three fried fishball and one fish paste stuffed in tofu puff. The fishballs were nice and bouncy. We had the dry loh shi fun (rat's tail noodles); it was topped with some minced pork. Toss it together with the pork and dark sauce and slurpppppp.... it was good. I enjoyed my bowl of noodles, and it was worth the wait.

The boss will cook it one bowl at a time

Opening times: 6.30am to 3pm daily. Closed on Fridays.

Price: RM5.80 for small, RM8 for large.

Location: Restoran Lee Koon, 21, Jalan Zaaba, Rahang, 70100 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. (Street parking available)
