Malaysia’s standard-bearing carnival for Pale Ales, Porters & Pilsners is back for its sixth year: The Better Beer Festival 2017 is set to get beer enthusiasts hopping to Publika's White Box space on 6-7 October to crack open more than a few cold ones.
This year, the festival promises enough choices to keep you content till 2018's edition - no fewer than 250 small-batch beers, investigating the work of 43 independent breweries hailing from 12 countries that span Scotland to Singapore.
Nimble & ready to mingle? The festival's social activities will include a beer appreciation session, talks by top regional brewers, & a beer cocktail class (learn how to mix an adult Bubble Milk Tea, courtesy by Pahit bar). Food from various vendors will be offered at the festival, with live performances by local bands on both evenings.
Admission is free. Beer vouchers are now on sale; you can purchase them online or at Taps Beer Bar outlets. Each voucher is valued at RM25, entitling you to a 300ml glass of beer or three 100ml taster shots. Early-bird offers are available.
