When my favorite eatery in Avenue K closed down, I was quite sad, however on the bright side, I can be adventurous and try out the other eateries in the mall. We have eaten a few times at the Wondermama outlet in Bangsar so we were positive that we would like the food at Wondermama X too.
The decor in this outlet is really nice, sleek and modern at the dining area (lots of mirrors and metal), with a rustic decorative shutter window wall on the other side. Very Instagrammable and makes a nice background for OOTDs too :)
We had the Famous Cendol (RM6.90), shaved ice dessert with gula melaka, fresh coconut cream, cendol, creamed corn, kidney beans and sago pearls. They are generous with the ingredients here, but I thought that it would have been nicer with slightly more gula melaka.
Hubby had the Superwoman Laksa (RM18.90), a different take on their Nyonya laksa as it comes with wantan mee instead of the usual mee/meehoon. The noodles are topped with sambal sotong, fish cake, fu chuk, hard boiled egg and fish cake. The soup was rich and creamy. It was a nice bowl of laksa, even Baby C had a bit (she's starting to like spicy food... that's my girl! :))
I ordered the Nasi Lemak Ori (RM18.90) since it would be a good one to share with the kids. The nasi lemak comes with Japanese style chicken karaage, sambal petai sotong, kangkung, peanuts, ikan bilis and egg. The fried chicken was really nice, I usually cut them into smaller pieces for the kids and they asked me to cut faster so that they can eat more! LOL! I also love the sambal which is spicy and slightly sweet.

And we got a big box of Krispy Kreme donuts for everyone at home for dessert :D
